Pricing
TML Web Design prices our web site development work on an hourly rate. We do not charge a fee for our templates, only for the personalization of your site. This means that if you are comfortable with a site developed from one of our templates, you can save money on layout costs and we can get right to the graphical design and content input portions of the development process.
Template Sites
We have many template sites to choose from. Depending on the template you choose, more or less customization will be required to make the site unique to your business. At a minimum, each site contains:
- A 'Home' page that is unique from the rest of the pages on the site.
- Channel pages (if necessary to categorize the content on your site for easier searching and identification)
- Content pages that can include graphics, text, and channel specific navigation
- Privacy Policy page (required by most search engines these days)
- Contact Page
- Site Map (used by searchers and Googlebot)
Custom Sites
TML has been priveleged to work with many company's on some very unique web sites. This website is a fully custom web site that uses the latest standards for website development. Highly customized sites allow for the greatest amount of creative freedom. While some steps in our design process may change based on our customer's needs, we use a standardized process when we develop custom sites.
- Initial meeting at customer site to familiarize us with your business and unique personality and gather key phrases and words that will be used in search engine marketing efforts
- If engaged, a web design agreement is signed at the initial meeting by all parties demonstrating committment to move forward with the project
- Domain Name search conducted and finding presented to customer for procurement (if required)
- Basic layout designs are developed showing where each element is to be placed on pages (this is not a full color design)
- Signed approval of layout designs by customer (often done via email)
- Development of a formal Statement-of-Work and presentation to customer for approval
- Color study. This element explores the colors of your site and some of the graphical content that will be included
- Presentation of color study to customer for approval (often done via email)
- Visit to customer to take digital photographs that will be used on the site (if required)
- Development of site (reporting to customer at agreed upon intervals will take place during this step)
- Site review with customer
- Corrections to site based on discovery's made during customer site review
- Hosting secured on behalf of customer (if needed)
- Final site review and sign-off by customer as specified in development agreement and statement of work
- Uploading of site to hosting server
- Testing of uploaded site by TML Web Design and Customer
- Delivery of instructions for site maintenance (if site is to be maintained by customer)
We have identified a hosting service that provides state-of-the-art website demographics for use in campaign validation and keyword/key phrase relevance. If you do not have your own dedicated servers or an IT staff, we will be happy to provide site management and reporting to you for a small monthly fee.
